November is awareness month and we recently commemorated World Diabetes Day 🌍💙 on November 14th, we come together to raise awareness, spread knowledge, and support the community of Xilinxa A/A in Ngqamakwe, Eastern Cape. That’s why Doctors Without Borders, in partnership with the Eastern Cape Department of Health, have come together to provide much-needed services, health screenings and health education about diabetes.

The community participated in a fun walk , some games including egg and spoon race , skipping rope and hula hoop. Those who participated received some exciting prizes !🏆

This year’s theme is about diabetes and wellness – a reminder to prioritize our physical well-being through self-care💪🏽, healthy eating 🍲 and exercise.
