Ons graad 1 tot 7 leerders was gister bevoorreg om een van Calitzdorp se bekende gesigte in ons midde te hê.

Me. Anneline Tarentaal het ons saalbyeenkoms met die tema, "liefde" behartig. Dankie dat u die boodskap so prakties en eenvoudig as moontlik aan ons leerders oorgedra het. Ons waardeer dit opreg!

"As jy nie liefde in jou hart het nie, sal jy daagliks rondloop met bitterheid en jou gesigsuitdrukking sal wees soos iemand wat sy/haar gesig trek tewyl hy/sy besig is om ñ suurlemoen te eet."

Kom ons poog om elke dag met liefde in ons harte rond te loop!

We are blessed to serve the learners at Calitzdorp Hoërskool Calitzdorp - Amptelik

In the rural town of Calitzdorp, South Africa, something quietly beautiful is unfolding.
It’s not loud or flashy, but it’s holy.

At Calitzdorp High School, more than seventy teens live in a hostel during the week, far from their families who work long hours on distant farms. Many carry invisible burdens: trauma, loss, family struggles, and pressure far beyond their years.

But they’re not walking alone.

Youth for Christ Calitzdorp has created a sacred space in the heart of the school, offering counseling, life skills, prayer, and a place to simply be seen.

When Youth for Christ leaders recently gathered with students to laugh, play, and pray, even the teachers felt the ripple effect.

One quietly said, “I know you came for the kids, but I want you to know—I needed that. I was ministered to more than you know.”

This is what Youth for Christ does. It meets hearts quietly, powerfully, and exactly where they are.
