Join us for a mesmerizing journey into the art of flow at THE ORGANIC MAGIC PROJECT V with Shelani & Jalene!

Shelani van Niekerk, a seasoned performing artist and storyteller, invites you to a poi workshop where creativity meets connection. Alongside the talented Jalene, they will guide you through the graceful, hypnotic movements of poi, blending rhythm, coordination, and playfulness.

Over the last six years, Jalene has captivated audiences on stilts, with her love for fire arts igniting at Africa Burn three years ago. She now explores flow arts, roller and ice skating, continuously pushing the boundaries of movement. Passionate about dance as a transformative force, she thrives on inspiring others through motion.

This workshop is for beginners and seasoned flow artists alike. Bring your own poi, or simply come with an open heart—we’ll be there to guide and inspire. Shelani and Jalene will also share a spontaneous, dreamlike performance, inviting you into a world of fluid motion and expression.

THE ORGANIC MAGIC PROJECT is all about good vibes, good people, and having a good & meaningful time.

It's exactly that... ORGANIC: as it grows in ways we cannot even imagine ourselves in the planning phase, as it's an expression of the facilitators, the creativity and art they bring as well as every single person who attends and lends their own charms.

It absolutely is MAGIC. Each and every time! This incredible HOUT BAY garden, alone, makes this event one for books, and we are so lucky to be here.

And it's a PROJECT that is being built, step by step, voice by voice, tone by tone, person by person, into an incredibly beautiful community of 'friends', who are there to enjoy, grow, feel, express, transform, have fun and connect in a totally unique way.

Thank you to everyone who has joined us on one or more of our 4 OMP's. We cannot wait to see you all again on Sat the 29th March... for our 5th Edition!

PERFORMER ANNOUNCMENT: FLO ~ Flautist
Flo, aka Dancing Dragon and mystical musician in select shamanic ceremonies, has pursued a long-standing passion for dance, music, entheogens and altered states of consciousness as an expression of his art.

Flo's hypnotic frame-drum beats and soulful flutes will lift listeners from the depths of their breathwork journey into expansive states of awareness, infusing us with focused prana to call us back into movement.
