The weaker a particular organ system is, the more susceptible one is to experiencing associated emotions, and the more one experiences excess of a certain emotion, the weaker the system becomes. Our emotional health equates to our physical health. That is a founding principle of Chinese medicine, as our emotions (feelings and thoughts) and health act as an interdependent cycle. Each of our organ systems correlate to a particular emotion.

Apply some of TCM’s guides for healing like avoiding all cold foods and drinks to make sure Qi and Blood run smoothly to nourish the body and mind. Go to bed before 11pm to soothe the Liver and Gallbladder. Remove yourself from stressful environments, remove clutter from your space for the Lungs. Our Story

Shiatsu Therapist, I first experienced Shiatsu whilst I worked on cruise ships, I had injured my shoulder. I found a Shiatsu Therapist with one of the seated chairs outside a mall in San Diego, after one session my shoulder was better. I had a further session just to make double sure. So after this I was curious about the benefits of Shiatsu Massage, so I started studying at the Shiatsu Academy with Beryl. I first did Head, Neck and Shoulders in a seated chair, the following year I completed the Full Body Shiatsu Massage and then last year I completed the Meridian Massage Therapy. It is an ongoing learning curve, I have done additional courses in chair massages, Lomi Lomi and Reiki.
