Once baby is over 6 months and can take liquids other than breastmilk, do not give them rooibos tea, coffee, creamers, condensed milk, etc. They do not contain any nutrients and will not help baby to grow. These may containing lots of sugar and fat, which can make your child unwell.

You can continue breastfeeding up until 24 months. You can offer your little one fresh cow's milk from 1 year if not breastfeeding. Remember that your baby may start drinking water from 6 months. Your little one will be old enough to drink water, which is a much healthier option.
