Turn Your Clutter Into Care 💛

Most of us have it…

A drawer full of old phones.
A cupboard with tangled cables.
A box of things we might use one day… but never do.

What if those items could change someone’s life?

At Adonai House, your unwanted items become real, practical support for families raising children with severe disabilities.

✨ We’re currently collecting:
• E-waste (old phones, laptops, chargers, cables)
• Small appliances
• Clothing, shoes & accessories
• Household items & bric-a-brac

♻️ E-waste is responsibly recycled
🛍️ Clutter is sold in our charity shop
💛 Proceeds go directly toward care packs, support groups, and essential support for families who are struggling

For many of the families we serve, this support is the difference between coping and falling apart.

Your clutter is not junk — it’s provision.
If you’ve been meaning to clear out, this is your moment.

Do it with purpose. Do it with impact.
📍 Drop-offs welcome (we can arrange collection in some cases)

📩 Message us to donate or find out more
Let’s turn what you no longer need into hope for someone who truly does.

The Goodwood Fashion & Thrift Market was truly a beautiful success 💛

Because of your support, Adonai House had an incredible day — with donated items finding new homes and our R5 thrift bins (filled with donated clothing) being a big hit!

Every single purchase made yesterday wasn’t just a sale — it was a step toward providing care packages and ongoing support to the families we serve.

This is what community looks like.
Your donations → our markets → real impact.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported, donated, and shared in the heart behind what we do. We couldn’t do this without you 🤝

He is risen. Hope is alive. 🤍

This Easter Sunday, we celebrate the victory of love, the promise of new beginnings, and the light that overcomes every darkness. ✝️

At Adonai House, we are reminded that every life holds purpose, every heart carries hope, and every act of kindness reflects this beautiful truth.

May your day be filled with joy, renewal, and the assurance that brighter days are here. 🌿

This Holy Saturday, we sit in the stillness between what was and what is to come. ✝️

It’s a moment to reflect, to trust, and to hold onto hope—even when the way forward isn’t fully clear.

At Adonai House, this reminds us that even in the waiting, love is still at work—through every act of care, every helping hand, and every life touched in our community. 🤍

May today bring you quiet strength, renewed faith, and the assurance that brighter days are ahead.

This Good Friday, we remember the greatest act of love—and we’re reminded to reflect that love in our community. ✝️

At Adonai House, every act of care, every hand reached out, and every life touched is rooted in that same love.

May today inspire kindness, compassion, and hope in all of us. 🤍

Behind every Food Sock is a family doing their best with what they have. 🤍

For many of the households we support, something as simple as a warm meal can make a difficult day feel a little lighter. That’s where you come in.

By stocking a Food Sock, you’re helping provide more than just food — you’re offering comfort, relief, and a reminder that someone cares.

It’s practical. It’s impactful. And it reaches families who need it most.

From just R59, you can be part of something that truly matters.

💚 Yesterday was National Cerebral Palsy Day 💚

While the day may have passed, the importance of awareness, understanding, and inclusion continues every single day.

Cerebral palsy affects movement and muscle coordination, but it does not define a person’s potential, personality, or worth. Every individual living with cerebral palsy has unique strengths, dreams, and abilities that deserve to be seen, supported, and celebrated.

At Adonai House, we stand alongside families caring for children and young adults with disabilities, including cerebral palsy. We see the dedication of parents and caregivers, the courage of the children, and the power of a community that chooses compassion and inclusion.

Let’s keep learning, advocating, and building a world where every person is valued and supported. 💚

🌟 Happy World Down Syndrome Day! 🌟

Today, we celebrate the incredible individuals with Down syndrome and the joy, love, and inspiration they bring into our lives. 💛💙

At Adonai House, we see every day the strength, courage, and uniqueness of our families and children. Today, we honour them, their families, and the wider community that supports inclusion, understanding, and acceptance.

Let’s raise awareness, break down barriers, and celebrate abilities, not disabilities. 💙💛

📸 Share a photo, a story, or a smile today and join us in celebrating the beautiful difference they make in our world!

✊ Honouring Human Rights Day – 21 March ✊

Today, we remember the brave men and women who fought for the freedoms we enjoy today. Human Rights Day reminds us that everyone deserves dignity, respect, and equality – regardless of ability, background, or circumstance.

At Adonai House, we celebrate the rights of all children and young adults with disabilities to live, learn, and thrive in a world that embraces inclusion and compassion. 💛💙

Let’s continue to stand for justice, love, and equality – not just today, but every day.

20/03/2026

This is what community looks like. ❤️

Today, 11 families caring for children and young adults with disabilities received care packs — small packages filled with essentials, comfort items, and the reminder that they are not alone.

Each care pack represents a community coming together to lighten the load for families who carry so much every single day.

Every care pack begins with someone in the community deciding to help — and together we are building a network of care, dignity, and hope for families raising children with disabilities. 💙
