Holistic made easy 🌿
Simple switches I made this week 🤍
☕️ Coffee at home
Slowing down enough to make my coffee at home has become a little ritual I actually look forward to. Using a proper mug (not a takeaway cup) feels more grounding. Choosing locally sourced beans means fresher flavour, but also supporting real people and small growers. It’s a small shift, but it invites me to be present, grateful, and start my day rooted instead of rushed.
🥕 Organic veggies
Richer taste, more nutrients, fewer pesticides. It’s not just about flavour, it’s about reducing what I’m putting into my body; fewer chemicals, fewer pesticides, less interference with how God designed our food to nourish us
🥛 Supporting local (almond milk swap)
Swapped store-bought for homemade, local almond milk; no gums, stabilisers, or seed oils. Just real ingredients.
If something lasts weeks on a shelf, it’s worth questioning…Real food is living, it doesn’t need to be engineered to last forever and if making it yourself feels like too much right now, supporting someone local who does it beautifully is such a great option.
🪥 Natural toothpaste + bamboo brush
Your mouth is one of the fastest absorption pathways in the body. Most conventional toothpastes contain ingredients you wouldn’t knowingly ingest… so switching to a non-toxic version just made sense.
🥤 Glass over plastic
Being more mindful of microplastics because we’re absorbing plastic daily…
Swapping to glass for water and food storage means less chemical leaching (especially with heat) and a cleaner, simpler option for everyday use. It’s a small shift that supports both my body and the environment, without overcomplicating anything.
🌿 Little steps, big impact
It’s not about perfection but it’s about about coming back to God, our bodies, and a slower, softer way of living.
Small swaps done consistently make real change.
