We are geared to provide long-term care to those who can no longer live independently or who are recovering from an illness or operation.

We had another visit from our therapy miniature horse! A beautiful calm mare called Dreamy. What a wonderful chance for our residents who petted her in the lounge and some in their rooms. Thank you, Sandy, and we look forward to another visit.

What excitement we had in Healthcare! At last we have managed to find a therapy horse! She is an American miniature horse who is used to coming into health situations. The residents weren't told anything except that there was a surprise coming, and they were blown away when this gorgeous little mare walked in. She allowed all who wanted to pat her to do so, and then visited some residents in their rooms. We will have a visit each month from either Bambi or her mother, Dreamy.

This has been a busy week. Generation School invited the Healthcares of the Valley to a tea and concert, so off we went. There were singers, dramas and acrobatics. 2 girls gave a wonderful display of acrobatics on silk ropes. Our residents were each given a Christmas card, a bookmark and a ceramic medallion - all made by the children. Thank you so much, Generations.

Today was High Tea day, and the kitchen upped their game big time. I wish I was down there as well! The fun never stop...
