Printed with us before? Not a problem!

The great thing about flexographic plates is that they can be used and reused numerous times.

If we have previously done flexographic printing for you, we will reuse the plate for future printing. Because the plate is unique to each printing job, we will be able to do repeat work for you numerous times. If there are any changes to the artwork on the printing job, we will have to create a brand new plate.

Plates are made from photopolymer material and are flexible to be wrapped around the printing rollers.

Plates are necessary for flexographic printing, as they ensure the exact design is being printed to the clients request.

Cyral plate + blank labels = final product.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not all printers require plates for printing. Cyral plates are used for short and long run printing and are the most cost effective option on our machinery. We use these plates for all of our flexographic printing.

Cyral plates are bendable, stencil-like cut outs, made of flexible photopolymer. It is very important to make use of high quality plates, as the image of the final product depends considerably on this.

Our flexographic printer uses these plates, to ensure the label is printed exactly to the clients request.

United Labels support small businesses, by purchasing our plates from a local company in Cape Town. We have a long term relationship with our plate making company and only use the best quality for our printing.

Supporting our N.P.O.

We have supported the NSRI for over 17 years and will gladly continue supporting them for the years to come.

NSRI is the charity organisation that saves lives on South African waters, both coastal and inland.

Fun Fact Friday
Our sales representatives have driven a combined +-3500 KM for the month of August! Tracey, Brendan and Michael are not only quoting and invoicing, they are also on the roads all week meeting new clients, marketing our products and delivering products to customers within a 20km radius of Cape Town.

Just a reminder that if your company is based outside our 20km radius, we can assist you with the order being couriered.

**Please note that all courier orders are on the customers account and must be settled directly with the courier company that you use.

Over the weekend it was national clean up day. United Labels try to maintain a neat working environment and keep waste to a minimum.

We make sure that we reuse, recycle and reduce where we can.

Our company name says it all.

United meaning one - Our team has been together since opening 21 years ago and some of our team is still with us today.
We keep in contact with our staff members who have retired over the years, and wish them all the best for their retirement years.
