I think you all know by now - I LOVE dogs!! Like really LOVE them - they make life better, all animals do!!! Tonight had my god-dog joining my class and lulu often sits with me while I teach!
And online I see everyone’s dogs and cats join in!!

PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD is the key to strength training

It’s not about the number… it’s about the effort! 💪

If your set says 10 reps, that doesn’t mean stop at 10 if it feels easy.
• Hit muscle fatigue every set.
• If 12–15 feels comfy → go heavier!
• Can’t increase the weight? Slow it down, pause at the bottom, or add eccentric reps.

Your goal: 8–10 reps where the last 2 feel tough—that’s where the strength gains happen!

How many reps? ALL OF THEM!!!

STOP POWERING THROUGH PAIN!! Your tendons will thank you.

Facts about tendons that may surprise you:
1. Tendons get strong SLOWER than muscles so they often hurt and get inflamed when training hard

2. Tendon degenerate just like joints as we age!! They start to fray and wear and tear and that’s why as we age, our tendons get painful

To help strengthen, repair and rejuvenate your tendons:

ISOMETRIC STRENGTHENING (holding)
ECCENTRIC STRENGTHENING
