what is a distant reiki session? 💭
reiki (Universal Life Force Energy) teaches us that we are more than just our physical bodies and this is why distant reiki sessions work because energy is not limited by distance. sessions can, therefor, be done without clients being physically present. for my distant healings, i use visualization and a surrogate - to send reiki energy to someone else. i also make use of the distant reiki symbol in my sacred healing space. my client does not need to be doing anything special. we will agree on a time for the healing beforehand, and i tell my clients to, if possible, try and sit or lie down and be still during the healing (which is usually an hour). the effects of distant healings are no different to hands-on healing.
