Waterfront Physiotherapy Clinic (WPC) is an established practice situated in the heart of the Cape Town at the V&A Waterfront. It is based in the Functional Performance Lab.
Our team of Physiotherapists provide an all round and bespoke service to our clients through thorough and comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
We believe in evidence-based Physiotherapy and have invested time in additional post-graduate courses and degrees, to enable us to treat any diagnosis. We work closely with different health professionals at our facility, to give our clients the best possible care through rehabilitation. WPC treats elite sportsmen/women all the way to your office worker and we able adapt your management accordingly and our main goal is to restore your function.

Meet the Owner:
Practice owner, Physiotherapist and Qualified Pilates Matwork instructor, Ken Mark Kabongo, graduated from the University of Cape Town (UCT).
After completing his community service year in Johannesburg, Ken decided to further his studies and entered into the Master of Science (MSc) in Sports & Exercise Physiotherapy at UCT. Other notable post graduate courses include: Dry needling level 1 & 2, Clinical Pilates level1 & 2, Advanced taping & return to sport, Management of chronic pain, World Rugby Intermediate Care in Rugby Level 3, Tackling concussion head on ‘The role of a physiotherapist’ and FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine.
Ken historically has a special interest in exercise and sports physiotherapy and has extensive experience working in a professional sporting environment. Ken has worked for multiple professional teams within South Africa which includes: SA Schools Rugby, SA U20 Rugby, SA Rugby Academy, Ajax Cape Town, Boland Kavaliers, England Rugby Union and Singapore Indoor Masters Cricket team. Ken additionally has a new found knowledge of physiotherapy in the corporate world.
Through the years, Ken has made his clients understand that there is a connection between the mind and the body, and for this reason he treats his patients in a holistic approach to get the best possible results.
Ken enjoys road running, living a healthy lifestyle and exploring the outdoors when not on the sports field or in his private practice
