About Olivia and Mia

Olivia graduated from Equine-Librium college in 2017. She studied a 4 year, full-time course in Veterinary Physiotherapy. Originally from Cape Town, she spent the last two years abroad working as a Canine and Equine Physiotherapist. She grew up with a love for horses and dogs has led her to her career choice. She enjoys show-jumping and aims to get back into it this year. Having worked with top competition horses all over the UK, she has recognised the importance of slight gait abnormalities and how it affects equine performance. She also worked in the biggest rehabilitation centre for dogs in the North West of England. She has obtained invaluable experience in her time in the UK.

Mia has always had a love for animals. She grew up in a house filled with many furry companions and spent many hours around horses. Mia graduated with a distinction and at the top of her class in 2019 from Equine-Librium college. As a young Veterinary Physiotherapist she is very passionate about what she does and ready to learn and grow! She provides the utmost care to all her patients! Mia’s horse, Fame and Fortune, is her absolute pride and he has played a huge role in her development both as an equestrian and a veterinary physiotherapist. Her career goal is to be the best possible veterinary physiotherapist and to make a positive influence in the life of animals. In her spare time, she competes Fame in lower level show jumping.
