YogaSpirit is a hot yoga studio based in Constantia, Cape Town, offering Bikram, Vinyasa & Yin class We want to share it with everyone.

We believe that everyone deserves to feel happiness and vitality to function most effectively in the world. Yoga is an extraordinary tool for instating balance and harmony. At Yogaspirit we teach yoga from the belief that everything is connected: a healthy body and peaceful mind translate into a more effective life. Today, 14 years ago, we held our very first class at YogaSpirit. It was a 6pm Power Class. I taught it … in something of a disbelieving yet awe-filled state that the moment was finally here. After all the hurdles (and there were many), YogaSpirit was opening its doors. So many Earth-angels had helped me to get to this point - I hope some of you are reading this post now and know much gratitude I feel for you. Today I took some time to go through the very old social media archives and find pics of our very first classes, of the space in those rough and ready days, and of teachers who taught classes for us way back when - do you remember some of them? Shout-out to those beautiful beings. And of course, the biggest thank you to you, our community, for the daily LOVE. Some of you who were in that very first class are still with us today, 14 years later. What an honour.
