Herbalism is the therapeutic use of herbs and plants in a holistic manner for self healing and preventative measures. Herbs assist the body in the healing process and treats not only the symptoms but works on the cause of illness. Herbal remedies create balance in the body, allowing self healing of the body to fight illness with a slow and more gentle healing action. It is more natural so there is a lower risk of toxic side-effects and supports the immune system. One will be healthier in the long run.
