Aurora Girls High School in Soweto has overcome incredible challenges, with their matric pass rate rising from 50% in 2020 to an inspiring 83% in 2023.

But despite their determination, the school still lacks the resources their learners need to thrive. Many of the girls come from families surviving on government grants, yet they continue to dream bigger.

Changing Futures at Luzuko Primary School 🌟

Right now, 457 children in Gugulethu are learning without access to a science lab or a computer centre. In a community where opportunity is scarce, this means dreams are being limited before they even begin.

We are on a mission to raise R1.7 million to create:
- A fully equipped Science Laboratory
- A modern Computer Laboratory with 41 workstations

Our Story

We are the SA Medical and Education Foundation, an education and healthcare focused NPO. Our mission is to create an environment where quality health care and education is available to everyone. We use high impact projects in order to supply both medical and education services of South Africa with the resources and infrastructure they vitally need to enhance the treatment they already offer to their community.

We work with facilities whose sole income source is the Government / state budget, and who are responsible for the health and education of over 85% of South Africa’s population. We are committed to helping the citizens of South Africa to equal healthcare and education no matter what their situation in life. Our track record of completing over 50 projects in the last 15 years shows our dedication to uplift communities through strategic projects.
