Sound practices and TRE can be adapted for every body.
If lying on your back isn’t possible, you can practice seated, standing, or supported. Gentle movements, micro-stretches, breath, allow nervous system regulation, release, and awareness without strain, pain, or full mobility, even during injury or disability.

Today, take time to sit or lie down quietly. Be aware of your breathing, sensing your feet on the floor. Check in with yourself. You might become aware of thoughts, or some internal dialogue, or a feeling state that you are in. Whatever is happening inside of you, bring some awareness to it. Do not try to change it, just try to see it. Put your attention on your breathing and sensing.

DAY 2: Following on from yesterday’s post about facing one’s fears..

I wanted to invite those of you who have wanted to try a breathwork journey but have been too scared to take action. I know going within can feel scary and you may feel a lot of resistance toward it which is completely normal as its the unfamiliar (I know this feeling all to well as a few years back when I hit a low point in my life I was terrified to look within but the only way out was to look inward and I realized I was running away from myself). It’s been hard to face it all but oh so rewarding. When you grasp the idea of “you are what you’re looking for” the love, acceptance and validation you seek lies within and not out there, that is when it all starts to change!

Breathwork for me was one of the tools I discovered along the way on my journey and it has had such a huge impact on me as it allowed me to reconnect with my body as I was extremely disconnected and was a chronic over thinker. I now feel safe to feel and have emotions and I allow them to run their course instead of suppressing, numbing or distracting. I feel more alive and I’m way more connected to my soul and intuition. It’s a process and it starts with you making the decision to choose YOU.

Let your first breathwork journey be a time for yourself an hour of discovering your inner world. No need for big releases, just time with you and your breath and see where that takes you.. 🌬️🤍

Trauma Release Exercises, offered by Marléne Nunes is a subtle, yet powerful therapy that guides the body to release trauma in a natural way. Marléne can help you in a private session or in group sessions several times per month.
