Last night I attended a webinar about incontinence in women. This is way more common that people realise, especailly after child birth and after menopause. Pelvic floor exercises and breathing can be of assistance. This webinar was specifically looking at the use of the stimpod NMS460 on the femoral nerve. The femoral nerve is stimulated where the thigh meets the pelvis (the panty line at the front in the groin). The nerve is stimulated for 5 minutes on each side. Case studies show drastic improvements in most patients within 1-3 sessions. This could mean not having to wear pads all day, every day and not having to plan your day around bathroom visits, not leaking with every laugh or cough, massively improving quality of life for so many women.
