One day, Iām going to write my book⦠and there will most definitely be a chapter dedicated to the animals Iāve tracked and found ā and even those I couldnāt. Because the truth is, Iām not always meant to find every missing person or every beloved fur baby. And thatās something Iāve had to learn with grace.
Today, I want to share another story of the visually impaired cat Norma Jean. š¤
She went missing four weeks ago. I had previously tracked her to the farmland where she disappeared, and then this past weekend, she went missing again. By Monday afternoon, I received the call for help.
I asked for 24 hours.
I guided her family to call her by name on Tuesday evening 6pm ā and to trust that she would respond. Norma Jean is visually impaired, and surrounded by towering sunflower fields nearly 2 meters high, she simply couldnāt find her way back home.
At first, it seemed like she didnāt want to return⦠but the truth was far more tender. Sometimes, when there are farm workers or visitors around, she wanders off ā and then becomes disoriented and lost.
But Iām so grateful to share⦠sheās home now, she answered l when her mom called her on Tuesday evening . šāØ
Please keep Norma -Jean in your healing prayers and loving thoughts. Being lost and alone, even so close to home, is incredibly frightening ā especially when youāre walking in circles, unable to see your way out.
