In 2015 she had the opportunity to pursue her true passion working with mothers and babies and opened her own mother and baby clinic in Cape Town where she could implement and use the knowledge and skills she obtained through the years. Sr Marisce qualified as a Certified Lactation Consultant after her own breastfeeding difficulties and struggle, as she wants no mother to go through the same challenges. Very interesting, we always want them to eat way more than what they know they need 🍎🍇🍞👧👦🧒🏼🧒🏾

Often people tell me how much they expect their toddler to eat and it is just wildly more than I would ever expect a toddler to eat.

Wildly more.

Of course you may have a toddler who eats a ton. That's fine. But if your toddler is only eating very tiny amounts of food, then it is totally normal.

It's important to let your child stop eating when they show signs that they are full. That helps them continue to develop the ability to listen to their body.

If you want to know more about how to help kids learn to listen to their bodies, the free picky eater guide in the bio can help.

This is SO important: a deep latch. All mothers should be shown this in hospital. I saw a mom again today that had no assistance in hospital 😥

We all need to to support breast feeding. One of the most important breastfeeding skills a mother can learn is how to get a deep latch. This needs to taught to every mother while they are still in hospital.
