We've been water fasting 22 hrs of the day for 15 days...
feeling the difference from the aching that was there so we are adding daily movement and bodywork exchange.
No doubt some things will significantly shift.

It's his thing really✨🌅
Being on the beach at sunrise, he's out there almost everyday and I am more now too I suppose.

I think Jim Morrison either quoted
someone or himself wrote
"No eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn..."
It stuck with me for some reason...something like a longing for, or the remembrance of a more sacred life.
I love to greet the sun...and so appreciate his energy and enthusiasm to witness it frequently

touches your body perhaps with deep affection when you're close,
touches your heart, surely…if you are with him?
He may grab you and grip you just right so you feel swept away in waves of passion.

It was an uplifting morning
..You have to wade into and through the icy lagoon...which gets deeper ... to get to the beach on the other side…
unless you have a personal chariot similar to mine.

On the subject of upliftment, we are moving into an experiment...
Fasting 22 hrs of the day for two weeks.
Now adding daily movement and soon, exchanging bodywork as an intensive
practice again.

They say that to heal we need to talk about it.
..to move beyond our deepest pain, we need to find the words, narrate it, speak it into the open.

But what about when the words just won’t seem to come? What if the story is held not in our minds, but in our bodies, in a place that language can’t quite reach?

For many who have experienced significant trauma, this is the reality.
Research clearly shows, traumatic experiences are stored deep within our nervous system…within the patterning of the connective tissue, in the tension in our shoulders, the knot in our gut ..the weakness in our legs or the breath we don't even know we're holding.

Sometimes when trying to access these experiences through our words, the part of our brain responsible for language can sort of go offline, as a protective mechanism…yes… but it can also leave us feeling frustrated, voiceless and stuck.

This is where we use the body as an access point to the psyche…squeezing, gripping, pressing, waiting with and moving the tissue to help free the mind.

The body remembers, somatic healing is founded on this notion, your body holds the story, and it can also hold the key to the most meaningful shifts...

Holy Mother of Dragons ✨🪽 we are living in a strange and shifting world aren't we?
Inside…out…
Many, many can attest to curious and disorienting forces, swift changes in perception and a kind of mild at least…anxious anticipation…

Expansion and contraction are of course in relationship with each other…and we all know something about becoming stuck in contraction… deep intrinsic protective bracing, patterns, wobbles, charges and ideas…that keep us from the sacred horizontal and vertical connection we have with the Earth, the Heavens and our Centre…that relationship we so need right now…all we've got to rely on to navigate by really… IS this relationship with our innermost AND with our bonds of affection.

For me the way to strengthen these is through my body, the physical stuff of me…when my body is touched and pressed and squeezed and MOVED I learn empirically that it is the physical expression of my mind in terms of how it shapes itself and the thoughts and emotions that emerge from different parts.

When I receive sincere bodywork from my partner there is a potent depth and freedom available …I can release so much of what pulls me off centre, shift ideas that create pain in my life, bring attention to things unacknowledged, feel at once present in my body, more at home where I am and more trusting of existence…

…and THAT is invaluable to me not only if I'm spinning out, withdrawing, feeling overwhelmed or fragmented…not only to navigate a crisis but as a way forward with Grace, feeling connected, embodied…really here for it with myself, and alive with appreciation as fuel for creating novel possibilities.

I offer something similar to him in return…I believe, in this way my partner and I are medicine for each other, for our time.

…and I just love to share it… if it yields you half of what it has us it's practically necessary.
