This year the weather was perfect for one of the oldest Trail Runs in South Africa having started in 1995 - the PUFfeR (Peninsula Ultra Fun Run) hosted by the Fish Hoek Athletic Club. This weekend we started by assisting the The Bridge House Mile and ended with the highlight of the SA cycling calendar the Cape Town Cycle Tour.
The races started late owing to the dark clouds but then the weather cleared and everything came together to ensure riders had perfect conditions and amazing scenery to enjoy the race to it's fullest.
It was a pleasure to once again be part of the team of 9 Emergency Medical Services supporting Mediclinic Southern Africa and ER24 EMS (Pty) Ltd. to cover the riders as they rode the scenic Cape Peninsula - well done to everyone!

Cape Town's weather played along to enhance the natural beauty to create a spectacular Cape Town Cycle Tour event in every way with a last minute sprint finish in the ladies and under 17 race and a cruise to victory in the men's race. It was super to once again be invited by ER24 to assist as part of the EMS team supporting this world class event. Well done to everyone.
