Even the most talented athletes can be outplayed by those who are more coachable than them.

So if you want to succeed, you need to check the ego, learn how to take constructive criticism and feedback and learn how to make that work in your favour.

If you can’t do that, you’ll remain in the valley of mediocrity with everyone else who thinks they know better yet have nothing to prove otherwise.

At Bohemian BarBelle the message is clear. If you want to get stronger, you need to remember that strength doesn’t come from knowing everything - it comes from respecting the process — and the people who guide it.

Every single one of these women went into this competition extremely apprehensive about how it would go.

They had told themselves, and me, that it was “just for fun” and they’d be “happy with any result”.

Which was bu****it. And we all knew it.

But now they know. They know it’s ok to want more. To stop downplaying it.

To be ok with the demands that come with it - the discipline, the time, the uncertainty…. But also the feeling of accomplishment. Of respect. Of pride.

Look at their faces under pressure.

These women have not chosen the easy path. But they have also not crumbled under the pressure.

They all have busy work and personal lives outside of gym.

But they are done pretending that they don’t want more.

They want it. They’re proud of it. And they’re not alone in it -because every other Bohemian here wants the same thing.

More. Better. Stronger.

We don’t clap for potential here. We demand the proof.
