Not really Monday motivation but more a step by step guide to reaching and maintaining your fitness goals. Having the body you want is much more of a mental game than physical.
1. Set clear "end goal" with a reward once you achieve that goal. By clear i mean measurable goals with spesific numbers involved, the hip size you want to be, exact weight, percentage body fat, what dumbers would you like to squat, deadlift or bench press. Speak to a expert who can recommend realistic attainable goals in a certain time frame
2. Set a time line for that goal. A goal without a deadline is just a dream.
3. Break that goal up into smaller short term achievable goals. Positive pressure keeps you on track and away from distractions.
4. Keep it realistic. Setting your targets too high might discourage you if you put in 100% and don't attain your short term goals.
5. If you deviate from the plan, that's fine, just get back meal plan asap. Quitting on your diet because of one bad meal is like cutting your arm off Becuase you lost a finger.
6. Reward yourself with something thats not counter productive to your goal. Book a message, buy something you always wanted, go on a mini holiday. You get the idea, just don't go out eating a ton of bad food, your not a dog so dont award yourself with a pack of biscuits 😜

Some Monday motivation to get the week going.
This is a Picture taken last year round about this time. I was doing a photo shoot in the gym when this gentleman approached me and asked if we may have a picture together. "sure" - I replied in a quite surprised manner. I've seen him watching me while I train before but didn't put much thought into it.
Before we took the photo he mentioned to me what a special moment this is for him to finally take a picture with the "young man that's always training so hard" and that he admires my effort in the gym. How cool is that coming from an older individual?
This made me realize that even on the days/weeks we feel de motivated/defeated or like nothing is going your way we should push trough, becuase you never know who's watching, who sitting in the "back ground" rooting for you, looking at you for inspiration to achieve thier own goals and to better themselves.
You might be reading this and be on of the people inspiring me on the daily without you even knowing it.
Now get up and let's get s**t done💥👊🔥

Big announcement with a touch of in the mix.

Im super stoked and proud to announce that im a ambassador and also one of the only a few representatives of body culture in Cape Town.

Something thats always Lingering in my mind is the words of a wise man and my very first sponsor : " sponsorship is earned and not given" and thats applicable in every aspect of everyday life. Whatever you have, was earned and not just given on a silver platter (unless you where born into riches ofcourse )

So if you don't have something yet, just know it will be on the other side of hard work. Don't quit just yet, rather just work harder 😉

We so often forget where we started, that we look past all the hard work, commitment and our body transforming

The girl on the lived on protein and veggies... The one on the right eats ALLES😉 It is truly amazing what some carbs can do to your body

There is a 2 year's difference between these photos and I am exactly 10kg's heavier on the right

At first this bothered me, but looking at it again only shows me that hard work does pay off
