The SACS Old Boys’ Union proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of Litha Kraai, who recently marked his 100th First Team cricket appearance for SACS against Rondebosch on the De Villiers Field.

In reaching this milestone, Litha has achieved something truly exceptional, earning 100 First Team caps in both cricket and hockey. He is the first scholar at SACS to have achieved this in two major sports, placing Litha in a league of his own.

Already a Men’s International hockey player, he stands as one of the finest all-round sportsmen SACS has produced.

The entire SACS alumni and community congratulates Litha on this extraordinary accomplishment. We look forward to following what promises to be an exceptional sporting journey ahead.

After six weeks of competitive, high-tempo water polo, the finals of the 2026 Nite Series get underway this evening at 18h40.

SACS will be taking on the defending champions, Diocesan College (Bishops), at 17h00 in what should be a closely contested encounter.

Old Boys and the broader SACS community are encouraged to come and support SACS, as our team brings this year’s Nite Series to a close.

Our school featured prominently at the Western Cape Matric Academic Awards Ceremony, hosted by Premier Alan Winde at his Leeuwenhof residence.

SACS was recognized as a top performing academic school in the Western Cape, and our Dux Scholar, James Prins, received a special award as one of the Provinces top performing students, achieving an aggregate of 95.7 %.

Furthermore, SACS received an additional award as one of the few schools in the WC to have achieved a 100% Matric pass rate for the past five consecutive years (SACS has achieved this feat for the past nine years)

Congratulations to our dedicated staff, learners, parents, and the broader SACS community on this outstanding and well-deserved accolade.

For the 9th year in a row, the SACS Matric Class has achieved a 100% pass rate. As a school that excels in many different spheres, we are particularly proud of this achievement. It is testament to our scholars’ resilience and effort, and our teachers’ commitment and care.

A Bachelor’s (University Entrance) pass of 94.5% is also an outstanding result!

Congratulations to our Dux Scholar, James Prins, who achieved 8 distinctions and an aggregate of 95.7%
