Taking time to slow down, enjoy your meals, track what you eat, and reduce distractions while eating can all support better long-term health. 🥗

Obesity remains one of the most common health challenges worldwide, yet it is often oversimplified and underrepresented in clinical research.

At TREAD, we believe it’s time to look beyond BMI and better understand how obesity affects trial outcomes💛

Obesity is one of the most prevalent health challenges globally, yet it remains underrepresented and often oversimplified in clinical trials.

It’s time to move beyond BMI.

At our clinical trial site, we are actively exploring how obesity impacts recruitment, participant safety, and trial outcomes, while advocating for more inclusive and realistic study designs.

Because better representation leads to better science and ultimately, better patient care.

Ask us about current research and clinical trials and how you can take part.

Many people think heart failure means the heart has stopped.
In reality, it means the heart is still working but not as strongly as it should.

A “tired” heart struggles to pump enough blood to meet the body’s needs. This can lead to symptoms like:
• Shortness of breath
• Fatigue or low energy
• Swelling in the legs, ankles, or stomach

These signs can develop slowly and are often easy to ignore.

Understanding your heart is the first step to protecting it.
If something doesn’t feel right, don’t wait.

Heart failure doesn’t usually happen overnight.
It often develops slowly, with early signs that are easy to overlook.

These can include:
🧡Shortness of breath
🧡Ongoing tiredness
🧡Swelling in the feet, ankles, or stomach

Many people don’t realise these are early warning signs, and only seek help when symptoms become severe.
Listening to your body early can make a life-saving difference.
If something doesn’t feel right, don’t ignore it.

Ask us about heart health research and clinical trials.
