Dear friends and family,

I have entered a tough charity event called the Cableway Charity Challenge to raise money for charity. I am going to climb Table Mountain via Platteklip Gorge [amount of laps] times. Once at the top of Platteklip Gorge I will run across the table and catch a cable car ride down, refuel and start again. Each lap is 5.5km and will take me approximately 1.5hrs to 2hrs to complete. The event takes place on Saturday the 20th of April in support of Abalimi Bezekhaya, Funda Kuyne and Ndihluthi. http://abalimibezekhaya.org.za/

https://vws.org.za/ who provide volunteer rescue services for people that find themselves in trouble on the mountains of the Western Cape. This year for the first time we will also be supporting the Volunteer Wildfire Services (VWS). VWS, like WSAR, is run entirely by volunteers and forms an integral part of the Western Cape’s response to wildfires. They will also be given 10% of the total amount sponsored. You can sponsor me per lap or lump sum, your support would be greatly appreciated.
