As part of VR Theatrical’s commitment to accessibility, the venue (Maynardville) has been equipped with a temporary hearing loop system provided by Eastern Acoustics Pro Audio and on 19 February 2025 two professional South African Sign Language interpreters will be provided by Jazz Hands – Signs of a Language and Socigo!

The organisers are excited to offer a special discount for persons with hearing disabilities and those who use SASL! Please follow the instructions in the image below.

Unmute in partnership with Artscape Theatre presents the 8th edition of our annual ArtsAbility festival.

This year we are extremely excited to present a program that is exciting, thought provoking, engaging works to say the least. With a theme that focuses on Diversity in Dance.

And last but not least, Diversity in Dance a project in partnership with Artscape, the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues festival and Unmute. A project started earlier this year and will now showcase the outcomes of this project at the ArtsAbility festival.
