Catherine Chambers Physiotherapy & Pilates Physiotherapy, Pilates, Physical Rehabilitation, Massage And so, Healthjunction was born.

Established in 2006 by physiotherapist Catherine Chambers, the Healthjunction building in Vredehoek houses a leading Physio and Pilates Practice close to Cape Town's City Bowl. After more than 20 years as a practising physiotherapist, Cathy’s dream was to create a facility which could offer optimal results through an integrated programme of treatment, rehabilitation and long-term maintenance of patients. Today, Catherine Chambers Physiotherapy & Pilates comprises a passionate and highly skilled team, offering physiotherapy, Pilates and massage, who are dedicated to providing exceptional care and achieving outstanding results. All practitioners have a strong patient-centred focus, work first to understand the client’s process and then educate them as to their problem and recovery, thus providing the client with a supported solution, alleviating anxiety and aiding their healing. This “case management” role also encompasses working closely with other medical professionals eg. General Practitioners, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Neurologists, Psychologists and Podiatrists, in order to have an integrated and consistent approach to each client. Locum required for an established NMSP practice in Vredehoek (City Bowl), Cape Town from the 9 December 2024 to 16 January 2025, or part thereof. Half day, but could extend to full day. The option to extend to half day position in 2025. An experienced physio would be preferable due to the variety of conditions and clientele, both adults and teens. An interest in rehab essential.
