IPL season is approaching…we wait for the weather to ACTUALLY turn before declaring it open, but if you’re waiting to get yours in take note of these tips for preparing for your best results!

IPL uses intense light in specific wavelengths to target red and brown pigment in your skin, lifting sun damage and pigmentation and improving redness and burst capillaries. Doing it on tanned skin means the settings need to be lower so that we don’t burn the darker skin. Going into the sun after the treatment will cause damage to freshly treated skin that can cause uneven pigment!

Stay safe out there and remember these preparation tips before you opt for this wonderful treatment!
