🚨 Important US Visa Update 🚨

The US has announced a visa bond pilot programme for nationals of Zambia and Malawi applying for B1/B2 visas.

📅 Effective: 20 August 2025 – 5 August 2026
💵 Bond amounts: $5 000, $10 000, or $15 000 (approx. R89 400 – R268 200) – decided during the visa interview.
🛂 Bond submission: Applicants must complete Form I-352 and agree to all terms.
✈ Entry & exit restricted to: Boston Logan, JFK International, or Washington Dulles airports.

✅ The full bond amount will be refunded if all visa and bond conditions are met.

If you’re from Zambia or Malawi and planning travel to the US during this period, it’s essential to prepare for this requirement.

✅ South African passport holders no longer need to apply for an ETA to enter Kenya!

🚫 No online applications, no fees – just pack your bags and go!

🩺 Important Health Note:
If you’re returning from Kenya after staying 12 hours or more, you must present a valid Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate — this is a requirement from South African health authorities.

✈ NEW UK TRAVEL RULES: Do You Need an ETA? 🇬🇧

Planning a trip to the UK in 2025? There's an important change you need to know!

👉 From 2 April 2025, travellers from countries like the EU, USA, Canada, Australia, and more will need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before entering the UK.

⚠ South Africans with dual citizenship – this is especially for you! If you’ve been using your second passport to visit the UK visa-free, this new rule could affect your travel plans.

🔹 An ETA costs £16
🔹 Required for tourism, family visits, or short stays up to 6 months
🔹 Each traveller (including children) must have their own ETA
🔹 Be cautious of unofficial sites charging extra – only use official UK government channels
🔹 An ETA does not guarantee entry, just permission to travel
