HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

31/12/2020

This hear has certainly been one of kind, with lots of peaks and troughs !
With that being said, these are some of our positives, gained from this year:
1. Our patients who are usually โ€œall
Go with work and no restโ€, were forced to slow down and finally have time to invest in their rehab and health.

2. As biokineticists , our working hours are unconventional with early mornings and late evenings to accommodate our office working patients. However, this year afforded us a lot of down time with regular working hours ! Weโ€™ve never had so much week-day sleep !
3. Virtual rehab and exercise sessions ! An entirely new concept to our practice but one that allowed us the opportunity to enter into a new avenue of business as well as keep our patients onboard with their rehab and health !

Now with 2020 on the verge of being done and dusted , we would like to wish you a happy healthy and prosperous New Year and look forward to the challenges and opportunities 2021 has to offer !
Stay postive (and test negative ๐Ÿ˜†) and stay healthy and active !

Our Story

Fallon Hope Biokineticist & Associates is situated at the prestigious Virgin Active Collection Club Silo District at the Waterfront, Cape Town. The practice is closely linked to the University of Cape Town and the teaching and training of the Biokinetics students.

Your first step into joining us is to have an assessment during which a series of baseline tests will be conducted by the Biokineticist. These tests include blood pressure and heart rate monitoring, finger-prick cholesterol and glucose tests, body composition measurements, postural assessment, functional assessment and a functional capacity test (6 minute locomotion test). These tests will be reassessed at the end of a 12- week period in order for us to monitor your progress. Following your assessment , you will then begin your exercise sessions.

We are able to utilise physical therapy in treating our patients through:

  • 1-2-1 exercise sessions (30 or 60 minutes)
