- GRATITUDE -
Expressing gratitude is associated with a host of mental and physical benefits:
Gratitude can decrease depression, anxiety and lessen stress. It improves sleep, focus and self-esteem.
A little gratitude allows you to shift your thoughts away from negative emotions and uncomfortable sensations, and instead, enhances empathy, reduces aggression and boosts your overall mood as you begin to focus on good things that you may have overlooked.
Challenge yourself to practice 1 form of gratitude each day and see how you benefit from it's effects :)
