It has been a very interesting start to a hopefully long journey with my 1st fibromyalgia client(friend)
I never understood the perception that seems to prevail regarding it being more mental than physical and how much that negatively impacts the person emotionally.
To be part of a process where the relief of the person after massage is so clearly tangible has been a revelation and in all honesty quite rewarding.
To bring an element of relief to their discomfort is a blessing and what makes being a therapist so worthwhile!
