Jaw pain can be a debilitating problem for many to deal with. While manual therapy may assist in pain related to your jaw, there are a host of self care remedies you may want to pursue at home.

Take a look at CASA’s top tips for treating your TMJ problem at home:
- Make use of hot and cold packs on your jaw line to alleviate pain
- Avoid foods that are difficult to chew (like biltong and gum)
- Gentle stretching and massage to the jaw may alleviate pain

My daughter has outgrown her infant chair. It's really daunting when you consider all the available options. However, while I'm looking for her next car seat I'm reminded about how important rear facing car travel is.

πŸ‘Did you know that children should be rear facing for as long as possible?

(As long as they fit within the weight and height limits of their saftey car seat.)

While the medical profession does not know the main cause of the most common type of scoliosis, there are certain risks to be considered such as age, gender and genetics.

Typically, idiopathic scoliosis appears in adolescence and is more commonly seen in female patients.

Less commonly, disease like cerebral palsy or muscular dystrophy may be the cause of scoliosis in some patients.

Please consult with your CASA-registered chiropractor to further assess your condition and to plan your treatment protocol for your scoliosis: https://membership.chiropractic.co.za/Public/Index #/findAChiropractor
