Chardine manufactures a range of goats milk soaps(100% natural),body products, skincare and a baby r I was still full time employed at that stage.

It all started when my husband and children brought me bath salts scented with natural fynbos oils. It smelled so good when bathing with it that I decided to make my own. While searching the web, I landed on a goats milk soap website and discovered the art of natural handmade soap-making. After hours of research and reading I realized that goat milk soap is excellent for sensitive skin and also for people with eczema, psoriasis etc. I was so excited as I struggled with eczema for many, many years, especially on my hands. This was the inspiration that started me making my own goat milk soap. I was curious to find out if goat milk soap really works. I bought raw materials, obtained fresh goat milk from a goat farm nearby, and started making soap. I got hooked on soap making. I was so excited after using my own soap especially after my eczema started clearing up and disappeared. I made many more batches and starting selling my soap at local markets. The people were very impressed with the soap finding their skin feeling soft and conditioned. A whole new world opened for me. I went out to see health shops and they start buying from me and then I decided that I need more products. I googled and meet up with a cosmetic chemist to formulate more products for my business. And this is how we started, today we supply shops in SA, Zimbabwe, Lesotho & Botswana. We still have a long way to go, but I am passionate about skincare.
