Undoing an assortment of knots. This action has a few benefits. It refines the coordination and agility of hand movements and this in turn contributes to the overall development and enhancement of fine motor skills. The activity may also solidify muscle memory. It has been known that hand strength may be a positive outcome of knot untying.
