At Mamela one of our is "to be the change you want to see" and in doing so live our purpose: "Improve the lives of those we touch".

Our Bloemfontein Super Sign is situated on the Heidedal Child and Youth Care Centre's land, who have been taking care of abandoned and abused children since 1986.

The income from this site goes directly to the Care Centre to help the team do the amazing work they do for their community. For this reason we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Standard Bank - South Africa and Refreshhh for helping us to support them.

Fast forward 20 years and it feels like we’ve seen it ALL in the world of township media:

🏗️ A 50-ton gantry stolen overnight (true story)
🔥 Cooking INSIDE a billboard (yes, it’s fire-retardant – phew!)
✂️ Arts & crafts gone rogue — stolen pizza slices, letter A’s, and phone handsets from our creative 😆

What has truly kept Mamela going is our people.
