Caring for others begins with caring for our people. On Employee Appreciation Day, Mediclinic recognised the remarkable contributions our teams make across the country. This year's theme highlighted the importance of finding a work and life balance which can be a constant juggle. We believe that it's through trust, teamwork, and mutual respect that we can continue to prioritise this balance. We enjoyed seeing how this year's theme was celebrated across the various hospitals and support offices.

Full Circle of Care: A Beautiful Family Story ♥️
Life often surprises us by bringing us full circle in the most heart-warming ways. Lia's journey at Mediclinic Constantiaberg beautifully illustrates the connections that form in the journey of welcoming new life.

Lia was born at Mediclinic Constantiaberg, where she received exceptional care in her first few moments of life, from Dr Wewege. His attentive approach and dedication made a lasting impression on Lia and her family. Years later, Lia returned to our hospital, this time as a soon-to-be mother herself. To her delight, she discovered that Dr Wewege would be the paediatrician in the delivery room for her baby boy.

“It was such a wonderful surprise to find out he would be there for my little one’s birth too,” Lia shares. “It felt like everything had come full circle.”

Some stories leave a lasting impact, and for Lia and her family, the experience with Dr Wewege is one of those unforgettable moments where care, trust, and life itself come full circle.
