We are physiotherapists situated in the Southern Suburbs with a hands-on approach and a focus on rehabilitation. www.greatheadphysiotherapy.co.za

We offer Pilates and rehab classes, lung treatments, sports and general injury treaments as well as lymphoedema managment. Our team is made up of two Physiotherapists with 25 years of combined experience and qualifications in Lymphoedema management, Orthopaedic Manual Therapy for back and neck pain, lung and sinus treatments as well as Pilates classes. We form part of a multidisciplinary team at Constantiaberg Human Performance centre. We utilise skills such as manual mobilisations, myofascial treatment and massage of all soft tissue structures and joints to help with the treatment of pain and stiffness. Manual Lymph Drainage as well as compression bandaging systems are used to treat swelling and disability in lymphoedema conditions. Similarly, adults and children with lung and sinus conditions are treated with nebulisations, percussions and suctioning (where necessary). At the Practice, we incorporate state-of-the-art technology such as shockwave therapy in order to reach optimal results in injury treatment. In conjunction with this, strapping, dry needling and rehabilitation through Pilates are included to achieve success in pain and injury management. We strive to successfully treat and rehabilitate our patients so that they can return to an active and pain-free lifestyle. Mechanism of action
