Truekrav Truekrav provides true Self-Defence and Tactical Training. Our objective is to teach you how to react and survive in a true combat situation, full-stop !!!

We are not a dojo, martial arts or lifestyle centre. We are a combat training facility. Training will be tough, uncompromising and exhausting and physical and mental breakdowns do occur. We require that our students adapt to our mentality of combat and this leads to Truekrav being private but certainly not closed.

“The guy at Truekrav trains civilians like soldiers and it is not necessary to have that approach”

Heard that before from your “Krav Maga” instructor in Cape Town ?

This woman, probably disproves the notion that civilians should not train like soldiers 👍

It also proves that self-defence in reality is about a lot more than just hand to hand.

Also note that there was no time for fancy shooting stances, or using the sites on the gun.

Well done to her.

Also, what she does after shooting is truly exceptional.

And this proves that I am not crazy for teaching my members, what I taught them in class 2 Mondays ago.

Because you are NOT training self-defence if you do not train in the FULL-SPECTRUM.

Truekrav takes on members by invitation only, and membership is not guaranteed.

* First book a free trial session.
* Arrive for the trial on time, focussed and ready to train.
* During the trial session we assess if our standards align. And if so an invitation of membership is made.

Exceptional training does not suit average entry requirements. Because when your life is on the line, then “average” is not going to save you.

To defend your family in your home will never be easy. Especially as a civilian.

Here are some of the facts :

* Your enemy will have all the advantages. Especially the advantage of surprise.

* Your enemy will have the choice to stop at any time, you won’t.

* Your enemy will also be skilled in violence.

* Your enemy will not have to deal with the emotions of protecting their loved ones, and possibly have loved ones already injured or killed.

* You will not have backup

* You will have to fight from cold

* Your decisions, skills and actions will most likely be the only thing standing between your family and a brutal enemy.

Learning how to defend your family is not something that you can just get some pointers on. You need proper training.

And the more basic your training is the more proper it is.

At Truekrav I focus on making sure that we do the basics better than 99% of everyone else.

And that is because those who train at Truekrav will have to bet their lives (and the lives of their families) on what they learnt at Truekrav, if they ever have to protect their families in a horrible scenario.

Focus on doing the basics better than everyone else and the rest will take care of itself.
