Sadly we said Goodbye to our little Italian lady Adele on Saturday evening...Adele was amazing despite the many.uphill.
Always had a smile on her face..

Cum see cm Sa is what she always said when I asked how she was doing (don't know if I spelt this correctly)......RIP my Adele I sure you are chatting away in Italian up stairs.
Sincere condolences to Daniel and Avril and family. We lost a beautiful person but heaven gained an angel

Onah you left us suddenly last night. . Your smile, your sense of humour, your very funny comments will be so missed by all of us. When Abraham entertained us you were the one who knew every word of his songs.. Singing on the top of your voice. It is always so sad to say goodbye as we are a family but I know you are now dancing and singing and of course having some quirky comments.
RIP dear Onah. Sincere condolences to Cheryl and Michael ❤️ Mom may have left us but she will remain in our hearts forever🌹

Trudie, my "hippie" lady left us peacefully last week Saturday. Trudie was so lovely, never complained, always ready to lift the leg for a dance and always complimented on what one was wearing especially your jewellery. Trudie you will be missed so much - our smile, your loving nature and your love for music.

Fly high with the angels, my sweetheart. I know that you will be up and dancing where ever you are now.

Over the past months, House of Roses has become a training facility for trainee carers. Colleges such as Robert Sobukwe Nursing Academy, Chilton College, Red Cross Hospital and others have entrusted us to ensure that the practical training for the care of residents is overseen by us. We have had excellent carers leaving us for the shores of the UK and others who are seeking work in Cape Town.

We can assist should you require a carer be it temporary or full time. We will only forward contact details once we have re-assessed their skills and have a police clearance.

My mother Rose was instrumental in the establishment of House of Roses after she suffered a serious stroke at the age of 83. We cared for Mom until she passed at the age of 94 in April 2022. We have a home in Goodwood and Edgemead and will be opening a further home in Bothasig in April 2024. The Bothasig home will not only provide a home for couples ( own accommodation ) with assisted living but also shared accommodation for both men and women.

Eunice our sweet sweet lady left us after 10 years living at House of Roses. A real lady who never complained with the sweetest smile for all. You are now at peace my angel. Fly high with the angels as you were certainly a true angel. We loved you and we will miss your beautiful smile every day❤️❤️❤️❤️

Today we said good bye to our little Sylvia. Sylvia always played our Mother Mary and she did it so well. As small as she was she was a fiersty lady who loved her red lipstick and always had beautiful red nails. We will miss you Sylvia as you were so much part of House of Roses being one of the first when we opened 9 years ago. Love to Lynda and family for your loss. Your Mom will always be remembered as "our little Sylvia" who loved you and her grandchildren especially Craig

House of Roses is proud to announce that all our ladies have been vaccinated. To those amongst us who fear this vaccination, please have faith that this is the route to go. We, desperately need to get back to some normality with our lives. The elderly have been kept away from their families to protect them which in itself resulted in depression. The elderly need their families around them and the more we vaccinate, the quicker we will be able to continue with our lives.
