Zandvliet Care Facility is a registered non-profit organisation, celebrating over 40 years of healthcare services to older persons, mental healthcare patients as well as 25-bed transitional care services.

April was a month full of joy, connection, and activity at Zandvliet Care Facility 🌸

We kicked things off with our much-anticipated annual Easter event, filled with laughter, an exciting Easter egg hunt, and fun games and puzzles that brought out everyone’s playful side. Our weekly bingo sessions kept the competitive spirit alive, while our Fitness Fridays ensured residents stayed active, energized, and engaged.

A special highlight was the visit from the UWC students, whose time, care, and interaction meant so much to our residents—reminding us all of the power of connection across generations.

Thank you to everyone who made April such a memorable and meaningful month! 💛

Yesterday we celebrated the Queen's birthday. Not just any queen but the queen of Zandvliet. Our queen Joan Du plessis or as we know her Tannie Joanie.
She turned 77 and went through all the emotions but mostly happiness.
