Welcome to St Luke’s Combined Hospices.
St Luke’s Combined Hospices provides specialised end of life medical and nursing and psycho-social care known as palliative care, to people with life-limiting illnesses. St Luke’s Combined Hospices cares for patients from all walks of life regardless of ethnic/religious affiliation or ability to pay - no matter how long or short the length of time the patient requires hospice care.
At St Luke’s we focus on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of a life-limiting illness with the goal of improving quality of life for patients and their family.
We care for over 500 homecare patients every month through our satellite community day hospices located in various areas of greater Cape Town. Our services include quality nursing support, physical, emotional, psycho-social and spiritual care and bereavement support for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
In addition to our Kenilworth Hospice centre we have eight community hospices in the greater Cape Town area which enables us to better cater to the specific needs within each community.
Our community hospices are located in; Athlone, False Bay, Grassy Park, Gugulethu, Khayelitsha, Plumstead, Mitchells Plain, and West Coast.
