A new spot. A changing mole. A wound that does not heal.

These signs are easy to ignore until they are not. Skin cancer awareness is about paying attention and acting early. It is also about compassion when treatment becomes complex.

Our multidisciplinary hospice team supports patients physically, emotionally, and spiritually when curative treatment is no longer the path.

In the Western Cape, we live outdoors. Beaches, gardens, school sports, long walks. Our skin takes the strain long before we notice the damage.

Skin cancer is one of the most common cancers in South Africa, yet also one of the most preventable.
