Will It Hurt?🤕

🙌🏽Physiotherapy shouldn’t hurt, and it will be safe. But because you'll use parts of your body that are injured or have chronic pain, physiotherapy can be challenging, even hard. For example, you may feel sore after stretching or deep tissue massage.

💪🏽But there’s a reason for that. Your therapist has a specific plan in mind based on your particular needs. Sometimes to get stronger, you have to do some tough training. It will push you, but it shouldn't be too much.

👌🏽Each person may respond differently to therapy. Your body type, daily activities, alignment, and habits all affect your plan. Stick with it, and you'll get the benefits.

1. Weight Balance: An older study from 2010 found that middle-aged and older adults lost more weight when they drank 500 milliliters (ml) of water before each meal over 12 weeks.💃🏻

2. Benefits the lungs: Getting enough water is as important for the lungs as it is for the rest of the body. Staying well hydrated by taking in fluids throughout the day helps keep the mucosal linings in the lungs thin. This thinner lining helps the lungs function better.😤

3.Muscle power and strength: Water plays a crucial function in encouraging muscle gain because it delivers the materials required for constructing protein and glycogen structures, the body's main sources of energy. Not only does it allow better freedom of movement, but also helps you build muscles good enough for flexing them. Consequently, drinking enough water is crucial for maintaining and developing muscle.💪🏽

4.Cognitive benefits: A 2019 study also found that dehydration negatively affected mood, while rehydration improved mood and fatigue symptoms. With this in mind, a person may wish to drink water throughout the whole day to experience prolonged positive effects on their mood.🧠
