We’re excited to share HOPE-PTCL, a global resource dedicated to individuals and families affected by peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL). HOPE-PTCL is a patient-centred hub that brings together trusted information on PTCL diagnosis, treatment options, living with lymphoma, and ongoing research, helping patients and caregivers stay informed and supported every step of the way.

This online platform emphasises community, education, and empowerment for those facing the challenges of this rare blood cancer - something that aligns with BLOODSA’s mission to support haematology patients and improve quality of care across Africa.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our very own Cyril Mthimkulu, Head of the BLOODSA Nurses Working Party, who has been invited to speak at the 52nd Annual Meeting of the EBMT in Madrid, Spain in March 2026.

Cyril will be presenting on Collaborative Pathways in HSCT and Cell Therapy: Training Nurses in South Africa — an extraordinary recognition of his leadership, expertise, and the powerful work being done by our transplant nursing community.

This invitation is a testament to the growing impact of South African haematology and transplant nursing on the global stage. Congratulations, Cyril! 🇿🇦✨

On 19 September 2025 we hosted our first BLOODSA conference - and on a topic dear to our hearts - HHT!

Our guest speakers are some of the kindest, most knowledgeable, and most engaging clinicians in the field and we are so grateful to have had them on board. A special thank you to each of them for taking time away from their commitments purely out of passion for HHT and improving knowledge and access to appropriate care worldwide.

We are currently uploading the presentations and recordings to the website and will update you as soon as they are available.
