I spoke to a girl today, i regularly have conversations with her she could be not much older than 25. I have not seen her for a while so I immediately asked her where she has been her response to me was shocking, she told me that she was in hospital she suffers from Depression and she is an Alcoholic. Never looked at her that way as she was always so bubbly and we would often talk about stuff, you know girl stuff and our favourite topic God ....all the time she is suffering and I never knew cause Depression masks itself on many different levels...

Daar is gebrekkige mediese kennis oor lupus

Lupus is ’n outoïmmuunsiekte waar die immuunstelsel (wat normaalweg die liggaam teen infeksie beskerm) verkeerdelik die gesonde selle aanval en dan inflammasie, swelling en pyn veroorsaak.

Die BTKi-SLE-studie is ’n wêreldwye kliniese navorsingstudie wat tans mense inskryf wat graag teen hulle lupusdiagnose wil optree. Die proef sal die effek van die navorsingsmedikasie op die simptome van SLE (’n soort lupus), soos moegheid, spier- en gewrigspyn en veluitslag, evalueer.

AUTISM do we just ignore or assist, very dissapointed when referring to the person as stupid or any other names. We should really educate ourselves before we judge. Had the most beautiful conversation with an Autistic child, was hard, I understand how You see and put in perspective cause that is how you understand.
