This! right here from a patient that has been treated in my hands means the world to me. I L🤍VE aesthetic medicine but sometimes when asked at a brain what I do I’m afraid for the all too common “oh you do the Botox in the lips” - kinda comments… Aesthetic Medicine is so much more than social media might portray… we normalise appreciating our own authentic beauty? we teach our daughters the same? As an aesthetic doctor I am her to help you maintain that .. BUT I will not want to change your face so people will say “she doesn’t look the same” … I might be very sentimental but personally I want to still see the resemblance of my family and ancestors in the mirror… in my hands we don’t chase perfection but rather maintenance and the longevity of your own unique beauty. Treating a face starts with respect for individuality. Beauty comes with a huge degree of inner self acceptance so I say with huge regard for the noise from those who don’t follow this ethos and philosophy… please can we protect our daughters from an unhealthy perception drift of beauty.
