The Compassionate Friends holds a special Gathering every year around October / November, and this year, our chapter together with in Somerset West, Cape Town and Durbanville will be hosting the event with. The Gathering is an incredibly meaningful time for families to come together, share their stories, and receive the support that is so vital during the grieving process. We are expecting around 100 guests from all over the country, please contact me to register for this event , we aim to keep the event accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. To help us make this Gathering a success, we are reaching out to businesses and community members for donations of the following items to ensure all our guests are well cared for while keeping the costs manageable:
• Coffee and tea
• Sugar
• Long-life milk
• Juice
• Water
• Rusks and biscuits
• Gifts for goodie bags
• Notebooks and pens
Your generous donation would make a huge difference in creating a warm, supportive, and welcoming environment for those who attend.
